Don’t forget Verification of Residency!

Hello Salt Creek Parents!

Our office is open until Wednesday, June 14, so if you have not submitted  your proof of residency for next school year, you can come in from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  to do so!  Remember, ALL returning students must have verification of residency taken care of before we are able to place their name on a classroom roster.  Thanks for taking care of this right away!  Please call the school office if you have questions about what documentation is needed (619) 397-5494.

Thank you and have a wonderful summer!

Mrs. Perez

Important Announcement Regarding Prohibited Items

Dear Parents,

The selling of items from student to student is prohibited on campus.  Please speak with your child about this issue and let them know that they may neither sell nor purchase items on campus from other students.

In addition, toys are not allowed on campus.  This includes fidget spinners and trading cards.  These toys can be a distraction from learning and sometimes disrupt school operations.  The school’s expectation is that any such items will be away and out of view during school hours or will be subject to confiscation.

Candy is also prohibited from being distributed on campus.  Please do not allow your child to share or sell candy to students, and do not allow them to purchase or accept candy as well.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  Feel free to contact the school office if we can help in any way.

Sincerely,

Lalaine Perez, Principal

Robert Cochran, Associate Principal

Participation Needed at Cycle Eastlake – Updated numbers!

Attention all families!  Please support Salt Creek by signing up for EEF’s annual Cycle Eastlake on May 13!! You can either bike, run, or walk.   Eastlake Educational Foundation supports Salt Creek by providing $20,000 per year for technology, but in order to receive this grant, we need to come out and support fundraisers and community events like this one!

We need 70 registered participants, and at this moment we only have 33!!!  You can sign up for up to 6 people for one price, and in the event that those people cannot attend, we will still get credit for the 6!  I know we can count on the Salt Creek community to come out and make it happen!  If we don’t meet the criteria, we will lose out on this money, which we will need due to an impending decrease in our site budget!

Use the link below to register and don’t forget to mark “Salt Creek” as your school of choice to receive credit! Thanks so much – see you there!
