For the past several weeks, about 35-40 students have participated in the after school Entrepreneur Academy at Salt Creek. Using the BizWorld curriculum, 4th-6th grade students study the Entrepreneurial Cycle and learn about finance, design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales. Students and groups launch their own mini-businesses and set up shop in the Multipurpose Room during the Entrepreneur Fair to sell the goods they have manufactured.
All Salt Creek students in each grade level will have set times to come in and actually shop for handmade items that range from keychains, bracelets, bookmarks, charms, small gifts, and more! Participation is optional, but if students would like to shop at the fair, we recommend they bring anywhere from $5.00-$20.00.
We look forward to another successful Entrepreneur Fair!
