On Friday, November 6, Salt Creek honored our military service men and women and their families with our annual Military Breakfast. About 150 were in attendance at our event that included the presentation of the colors by our Safety Patrol, the National Anthem sung by 6th grade student Isabella Aguilar, patriotic songs played on the trumpet by our Music Teacher Charisse Hines, a Military Address given by Principal Perez, and entertainment by saxophonist Paul Jimenez.
We would like to thank our sponsors, Mission Federal Credit Union and Easy Veterans Info for their support of this event. We would also like to acknowledge the partnership between CVESD and USC in providing support and resources under the “Welcoming Practices for Military Connected Schools” program.
Thank you to all parents that made donations, and thank you to all who joined us for this event to honor the service of our Salt Creek Military Heroes!
