Weekly Update for October 27th to October 31st


Hi Everyone! Welcome Back. We hope everyone will get on board to help us celebrate Red Ribbon Week! Notes went home  explaining the different ways Salt Creek Students are encouraged to show support for Red Ribbon Week each day.

Week At a Glance

  • Monday, October 27thRed Ribbon Week Kick-Off – Show yourself some love! Wear Red Today.
  • Tuesday, October 28th – “Team Up Against Drugs.” Wear your favorite Sport Teams colors/jersey.
  • Wednesday, October 29th“Don’t get mixed up in Drugs.” Wear mismatched clothing.
  • Wednesday, October 29th – 7:30 amMission 2 $ave
  • Thursday, October 30th – “Hats Off to being Drug-Free” – Wear your favorite hat!
  • Thursday, October 30thBefore & After SchoolSpirit Tag Sales 
  • Friday, October 31st – “Say BOO to drugs.” Dress-up for Halloween (but bring a change of clothes).
  • Friday, October 31st – 8:30 on the Black Top – Halloween Costume Parade – Children who dress up must change before going back to class.

What’s Happening in October & November?

Red Ribbon Week

  • Monday to Friday, October 27th to 31st – Each day of the week has a fun theme to encourage the students to love themselves and to say NO WAY to drugs!

Mission 2 $ave 

  • Wednesday, October 29th – 7:30 am in front of the school – Once again, Mission Federal Bank is here to help our Mountain Lions learn about the importance of saving. Kids can open accounts and make regular deposits without even going to the bank every Wednesday for the entire school year.

Spirit Tags

  • Thursday, October 30thBefore and After school – Buy a Halloween Spirit Tags or scoop up one of styles you missed out on. Spirit Tags are $1 each.

Halloween Costume Parade

  • Friday, October 31st8:30 am On the Black Top – Come out to watch the kids strut their stuff in their Halloween Costumes. (Don’t forget to pack a change of clothes for after the parade.)

November
