CHULA VISTA SAFETY PATROL NIGHT AT PADRES GAME

Fundraiser supports school safety patrol program.

Purchase your special discount tickets now to the San Diego Padres vs. Washington Nationals baseball game scheduled for Saturday, May 18, and help support Chula Vista’s School Safety Patrol Program.  The public is welcome to participate.

Chula Vista’s School Safety Patrol Program has 1,600 student members. Children chosen to be a school safety patrol member work closely with Chula Vista Police School Resource Officers and school administration to ensure the safety of students, especially at crosswalks. Every school day, these safety patrollers help thousands of students and parents safely cross the street before and after school.  There are 44 elementary schools in the Chula Vista Elementary School District with approximately 30,000 students.

The ball game begins at 5:40 p.m. and it’s free t-shirt give-away night so arrive early to get your shirt!  Tickets are only $12 which is a $7 savings off the gate price. Seats are in the upper pavilion.  To obtain your ticket, call or email the following School Resource Officers:  David Martinez at (619) 585-5672, dmartinez@chulavistapd.org, or Roy Vicente at (619) 691-5211, rvicente@chulavistapd.org, or purchase tickets from your local Safety Patrol student or advisor Mrs. Muhlbach, madeline.muhlbach@cvesd.org.

There are no refunds and tickets can be purchased only by cash or check (payable to Chula Vista Police Foundation).  Deadline to purchase the discounted tickets is May 3.

Proceeds from this fun fundraiser will help pay for the Safety Patrol camp held in June, purchase equipment for Safety Patrol, and aid with other Safety Patrol special events.
